The project involved designing a pavilion for the beach club of the Casitas de Potosí residential development, situated on Playa Blanca in Zihuatanejo. Our concept aimed to create a visually striking structure that seamlessly integrates with the natural beauty of the ocean waves. Inspired by the innovative use of reinforced concrete, reminiscent of Architect Félix Candela's ruled surfaces, we celebrate the possibilities of this material as "liquid stone." The pavilion offers both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality, providing shelter from the sun while harmonizing with the stunning surroundings of Playa Blanca. This blend of form and function showcases the untapped potential of reinforced concrete, offering visitors a unique and memorable experience.
